Nigerian senate rejects Ibrahim Magu's nomination as EFCC chairman

Senators this morning rejected the nomination of Ibrahim Magu as the Chairman of antigraft agency, EFCC. According to the senate spokesperson, Magu was rejected because of a security report it received. Details of the security report was however not disclosed.

Senators Dino Melaye and the Majority leader of the house, Ali Ndume, exchanged hot words when Magu's screening was called up. Ndume who is from Borno as Magu, was in support of his confirmation while Melaye was totally against it. Magu has been serving in acting capacity since November 2015.

According to Facebook user, Tony Noni who shared the story, Miss Delta 2010 who resides in Ghana with her husband, sent thugs to beat him up. Recounting what transpired he said;

I visited a friend in Ghana called Tony and i've stayed with him now for a month and 3 weeks, i went there for 3months vacation. My eldest brother stays here too but i decide to stay with him.

This child’s christmas letter to his dead father will leave you close to tears

A little boy wrote a Christmas letter to his dead father then attached it to a blue balloon. In the letter, the boy told his father how much he missed him and expressed hope that his father will reply his letter. He also told his father what presents he wants for Christmas.

A woman on Tuesday, December 13th, gave birth to two-headed baby at Med-In Specialist Hospital located at Oshogbo Street in Ogudu,Lagos. According to doctors at the hospital, the baby born around 6:30pm through an elective caesarean section, has two heads, a neck, chest, two legs and two hands. The mother and medics were expecting a set of twins as indicated by the various scans she underwent in the course of the pregnancy.
